They say living on a boat is “fixing things in exotic places,” and we’ve found this to be true—even with a brand-new vessel! One of the biggest challenges of boat life is accessing the right manuals, troubleshooting guides, and expert advice when you need it. Searching for the right YouTube video, technical document, or first-hand experience can be time-consuming and frustrating when you’re in a remote anchorage.

 

Introducing Cruising IQ – a growing repository for boat manuals, troubleshooting tips, and repair solutions. Currently, it includes data specific to my 2024 Nautitech 44 Open (MackenSea), but my long-term goal is to expand this resource into a community-driven knowledge base.
