In the last twenty-four hours we completed a little over 200 nautical miles, to make this even better, they were al in the direction of the Azores!

The winds picked up to 28 - 32 knots and we were abe to keep the boat moving along nicely on a beam reach. We put a reef in the main to for better balance to make the ride more comfortable. We have reasonably we behaved 3 meter waves coming from behind. This means that we do get a bit of surfing and rounding up, but nothing that Otto cannot handle.

The winds dropped this afternoon and we

up the Gennaker, but it was up only briefly as the wind soon came back to 28 knots. But this is all good practice for the crew.

Just finished a another of Cheryl's prepared sauces, Spaghetti Bolognese tonight. Very nice. And those green bananas have finaly turned yellow so we had ice cream and banana for desert.
